FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ONLY ALTERNATIVE TO DECADE OF CUTS
Commenting on reports that Secretary of State for Scotland, Michael Moore
will seek further powers for the Scottish Parliament after the Calman
Commission proposals are implemented, SNP Treasury Spokesman, Stewart
Hosie MP said:
"Scotland does not need the vague ambitions of the Scottish Secretary or
the unworkable proposals of the Calman Commission, it needs action to
ensure jobs and long term recovery now.
"Only with economic and financial powers, can the Scottish Parliament make
the best decisions for Scotland. Without real financial responsibility,
Scotland faces a dismal decade of Westminster cuts."
